Bayern Munich have made a 20-point lead at the top of the German Bundesliga, following a 4-0 win over Freiburg on Sunday.
Thomas Muller was in good form for the Bavarians, as his effort came off goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow and into the net to open the scoring.
Corentin Tolisso doubled Bayern’s lead with a stunning strike from distance, before Sandro Wagner added a third. Muller scored the last goal of the game in the 69th minute.
With nine matches left to play, Bayern’s sixth league title in succession is a mere possiblity.
However, manager Jupp Heycknes, has warned against self-admiration.
“Our players don’t want to take their foot off the throttle. They know only too well that they need to stay in rhythm.
“We will carry on just as we are doing now and I have challenged the players to leave everything out there on the pitch in the Bundesliga,” he said.
